Here comes Fall!
As the seasons change and summer transitions to fall, we look forward to wearing our favorite fall sweaters, relaxing around a campfire and, of course, decorating around the house with fall items.

Fall Decorating Ideas

Add a bright fall wreath to your front door to give your guests a festive welcome. Flock your front door with corn stalks that add a natural, fall element to your entryway. Mix and match pumpkins, mums, cabbage, grasses, perennials and more to make a custom door that you’ll be glad to walk into each night!

Not totally into fall? Be inspired by summer’s harvest and use apples and pears as decor instead of pumpkins and gourds! Go with a yellow and red theme instead of the traditional orange! Draw attention up to your front door or porch by planting bushel baskets full of bright colored mums that lead up the pathway to your door.

Harvest Door

Pull tired and spent annuals out of your flower beds and tuck in cold-tolerant cabbages and kales that will deepen in color as the Ohio days and nights become cooler.

Add fall perennials to your flower beds to give them color in every season. Plants that we recommend: Sedum ‘Angelina’, Sedum ‘Blue Sprue’, Geranium ‘Rozanne’, Heuchera ‘Citronelle’, Heuchera ‘Caramel’, Heuchera ‘Brazen Raisin’ and more! Fall plants have fantastic foliage that will carry you through frost.

Tuck bright orange and white pumpkins in your flower beds for a burst of color. They seem to glow in the late summer sun.

Transform your container gardens into beautiful fall pots of colorful flowers and interesting textures that can look great late into the fall season. Explore your creativity and tuck in pumpkins, gourds and other natural elements between the plants. Plant ideas: Swiss Chard, Mums, Cabbages, Kales, Pansies, Sedums,  Juncus and more!
