Saying Goodbye to Mrs. Graf

Graf's Perrennials

The Graf Family announces with great sadness the loss of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mrs. Janice Graf.

Working side by side with her husband and her family, Janice lived her and John’s dream of owning a farm and a family business. There were many trials and lots of joy! You may remember Mrs. Graf working behind the register or answering your many questions over the phone. One of her favorite parts of her job was mentoring and guiding young staff members, who often were experiencing their first job. She was pleased to teach them practical life skills. She always said she raised her kids and countless others too! We all looked forward to the days Mrs. Graf would bring in her homemade treats. Her chocolate chip zucchini bread is beloved by many! She had a kind heart and listening ear often encouraging those around her, whether it be a friend or a customer. Mrs. Graf loved beautiful flowers and all things pink. Her favorite time of the year was when there was an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables in the market. Janice gave her life to building our business and her legacy lives on here at Graf’s through her children and grandchildren. Please join us in saying goodbye to a special lady!

To the Graf family, I just saw this now, and am sorry I did not know sooner. Mrs. Graf always made me feel so valued and go out of her way to help me find something. Over the years, she was interested and would inquire about my children who used to shop there with me when they were young. I will miss her great smile and friendly manner. We so appreciate having the nursery and market in our neighborhood, and all she and Mr. Graf did to build the business.
